Sunrise Scholars is built around intentional community, active learning, and consistent outdoor time. Our goal is to provide older homeschool students with a place to explore science, writing, history, art, and life skills in ways that are collaborative, engaging, and developmentally appropriate.

Teachers are expected to:

Design and lead a 10-week course aligned with Sunrise Scholars’ mission

Prepare weekly lesson plans and necessary materials

Foster a structured yet engaging classroom environment

Collaborate with program leadership and fellow instructors

Support students’ independence within a supervised drop-off setting
This is a 10-week commitment per semester, with potential opportunities to continue for future sessions as the program expands.
Compensation will be discussed based on experience, course design, and teaching load.
For the safety of all students, all teachers and staff are required to hold current Pennsylvania child abuse, criminal background, and FBI clearances. We'll walk you through the process if needed.
